Robert Mueller may nail Trump adviser

 Stephen Miller for criminal activity

To the general public, Stephen Miller is best known as the creepy Donald Trump adviser with the big forehead who periodically gives racist speeches in which he demonizes immigrants. Many have wondered how Miller has managed to survive of late, even as his fellow racists Steve Bannon and Sebastian Gorka have been purged from the White House. But the reason behind his job security may also be the reason he’s now in real danger of going to prison.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is zeroing in on nailing Donald Trump for obstruction of justice in relation to his firing of FBI Director James Comey. After Trump used a memo from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as his official reason for the firing, he then quickly admitted in an interview that he really did it to try to sabotage the FBI’s Russia investigation. Now it turns out Trump and Stephen Miller co-wrote a different version of the Comey firing letter which never saw the light of day – until it recently landed in the hands of Mueller.

The exact contents of that draft letter from Trump and Miller aren’t publicly known. But according to the New York Times, the letter was quashed by White House Counsel because it was too self-incriminating (link). What the Times doesn’t spell out is that if this secret letter written by Trump and Miller is evidence that Trump committed obstruction of justice, then it’s also evidence that Miller is guilty of conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice.

This may explain why Miller wasn’t purged last month, even as most of the other racist characters were shown the door after Charlottesville. If Miller had been fired, he could have easily gotten revenge by running to Mueller with the incriminating letter, in exchange for immunity.  But now that its known Mueller has the letter anyway, Miller’s job security is gone—and so is any leverage he might have had. They don’t put you in prison for racism, but they do put you in prison for obstruction of justice.
