In the wake of attacks by the outlaw death cult Da\u2019esh against a Russian airplane, in Beirut, and in Paris, a firestorm of debate has erupted over how to handle Syrian refugees as well as other Muslims. Suggestions run the gamut from multiple claims that only Christian Syrians<\/a> should be allowed into the U.S., to arguments that mosques should be closed<\/a>. Others have said Muslims should be marked<\/a> and registered<\/a> and that Islam is a philosophy of violence and murder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The base argument has been that Da\u2019esh and other terrorist death cults have all been Islamic and that this kind of barbarism is a unique and inherent portion of Islam, as one recent comment noted here<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Violent jihad was baked right into Islam by\nMuhammad himself, who used militancy to spread Islam<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some argue this same militant streak is a base feature of Islam because of passages such as this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Quran, 048:29: “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves;”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yet the truth\u2014which is often forgotten\u2014is that the origins of Islam stem directly from both Christianity and Judaism, and that you can find similar passages in both the Old Testament and Talmud. You can also find more than a few Christian death cults not only in history, but in the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Buckle in, because listing just the highlights of radical extremist Christianity is gonna take some time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Let\u2019s proceed <\/em>onward, Christian soldier, starting with the very first two commandments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Thou shall have no other gods before me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So as you can see from the very first of the commandments, God himself states that he is jealous and that he calls for the punishment of those who would worship differently\u2014not just on those individuals, but also on their next four generations<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And then there\u2019s Deuteronomy\n13:6<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6 <\/sup>If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love,or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, \u201cLet us go and worship other gods\u201d (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7<\/sup> gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8<\/sup> do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9<\/sup> You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10<\/sup> Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, <\/em>who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11<\/sup> Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And Deuteronomy\n17:2<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n 2 <\/sup>If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the Lord thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the Lord thy God, in transgressing his covenant,<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3 <\/sup>And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4 <\/sup>And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5 <\/sup>Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Again, right here within the laws of Moses, written long before the Qur\u2019an, it\u2019s clear that the punishment for attempting to turn someone away from God, or for being a non-believer, is death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And another thing: \u201cJihad\u201d doesn\u2019t precisely mean<\/a> what a lot of people seem to think it means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jihad <\/strong>(English pronunciation: \/j\u0259\u02c8h\u00e4d\/; Arabic: \u062c\u0647\u0627\u062f\u200ejih\u0101d [d\u0292i\u02c8h\u00e6\u02d0d]) is an Islamic term referring to the religious duty of Muslims to maintain the religion. In Arabic, the word jih\u0101d is a noun meaning “to strive, to apply oneself, to struggle, to persevere”.[1] A person engaged in jihad is called a mujahid, the plural of which is mujahideen (\u0645\u062c\u0627\u0647\u062f\u064a\u0646). The word jihad appears frequently in the Quran,[2] often in the idiomatic expression “striving in the way of God (al-jihad fi sabil Allah)”, to refer to the act of striving to serve the purposes of God on this earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are many ways to engage in this struggle to preserve the faith. When the faith is attacked \u201cJihad\u201d is the call to defend it, so when we say \u201cJihadi\u201d we literally mean \u201cdefender of the faith.\u201d That doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s wrong to call these terrorists\u201cJihadists\u201d but it is a bit like giving them a compliment, unlike calling them what they truly are: A death cult<\/em>, or Da\u2019esh<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The actual word that means \u201cHoly War\u201d is crusade<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CRU-SADE<\/strong>: a medieval military expedition, one of a series made by Europeans to recover the Holy Land from the Muslims in the 11th, 12th, and 13th centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n noun: crusade<\/strong>; plural noun: crusades<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
